I was reading the new Deadpool comics and apparently, Wolverine lost his powers. And I just wanna know, what happened to his powers?

He lost his healing powers in an issue of the 2013 Wolverine series (it was #7 I believe).

Quote:
During those events, a solo mission left Wolverine infected with an "intelligent virus" hailing from the Microverse. While his healing factor purges the infection from his body, the viral agent was still able to suppress Wolverine's healing factor, leaving him in the search for a cure.

I imagine he will probably have to die for his healing factor to reboot itself, which will probably take six months to a year or possibly more. At which point he will emerge from whatever grave he is buried in, in a somewhat beastial state until his newly rebooted healing factor has a chance to heal his mind enough for him to remember those allies, friends and loved ones he has been mindlessly attacking for the three issue arc of whichever book this takes place in…

Just saying! :wolverine:

Avengers & X-Men vs Wolverine, an 80-part crossover.

No, that was done in the Miller/Romita JR arc Enemy of the State... Although that wasn't an event, I suppose.
