Marvel is just looking for money. Easy to divide the team and its members due to people following certain characters.

One thing that I must have missed/not followed is Husk. Did she get a secondary power? I thought she just tore off skin to match what she touched only.

No, her power has always been to "husk" into anything, as long as it doesn't exceed her body mass. You're mistaking her with people like Absorbing Man or DC's Amazing Man, who transform by touch, but Husk can become any solid she has studied. While that may involve touching, basically after she's studied it, she can become it whenever she wants.

Her power seems to have grown even more, as she took on a fire form in Legacy 260.1.

You mean this? Sorry but not for me. Allred just doesn't do it for me on any superhero book.

I thought Allred was good on his recent issue off DD, but I'm glad Samnee is back. I was really into W&X but the whole AVX tie kinda killed it for me, I want to try to get back into it, it was the only x book I was reading.

yesterday's #17 may be for you, then... it's centered aroundWolverine and Doop (hence Allred's guest shot... he co-created Doop)

Finally caught up on this book after the whole AVX thing, Jason Aron navigated that event with class, glad that I got back into the it, it has quicky risen to my top of my pile for the month again. the Doop issue was one of the funniest things Ive read in along time. Really excited about the direction of this book, read some info about Jason's future plan for this book cant wait to see Perez art on issue # 25.

I don't read this particular series but this news caught my eye...

Quote:
Spider-Man will soon step into Wolverine's shoes as headliner of "Wolverine & The X-Men." The new "Spider-Man & The X-Men" series by "The Daily Show" writer Elliott Kalan and artist Marco Failla will debut in December, centering around Spider-Man as the newest faculty member at the Jean Grey School: a guidance counselor.

Quote:
SPIDER-MAN & THE X-MEN #1
ELLIOTT KALAN (W) * MARCO FAILLA (A)
Cover by NICK BRADSHAW
Variant Cover by BENGAL
Meet the Jean Grey Academy’s new guidance counselor: Spider-Man!
• What’s a non-mutant doing at a school for mutants? What secret suspicion has fueled the formation of his
special student class?
• And because you demanded it! Sauron and Stegron the Dinosaur Man! The villain team 65 million years in the
making! You didn’t demand it? Well somebody did.

I suppose if Wolverine suddenly ceases to be in everything because he's dead, then it falls to Spiderman to pick up the slack!

Well it's got my vote. Bradshaw needs to draw more and Kalan is hilarious. Kalan is on The Flop House, a bad movie podcast that has me in stitches every two weeks.
