Ive watched the UFC since UFC 1. But i never thought about becoming an MMA fighter. Shit, i turn red and get welts on my body when i jump into water the wrong way. Id look like a freak trying to fight. Add to that id be fighting at like 155, while im fast i don't think im that fast or strong.

Of course they train, nobody can be naturally fit to the levels needed to compete in MMA matches.

I've come into this a bit late but here I go anyway.

I wear glasses, could easily compete without them on though and I have done in the past. I couldn't do it wearing contacts though, they would put you off massively.

Ju-Jitsu is my background. Would never have competed professionally but have done with people studying under the same Sensei and it was a lot of fun.

You need to keep extremely fit. It's not all about muscle, I'm very small with not a great deal of strength. Stamina, flexibility and technique can be great assets if you lack muscle.
