Currently reading the ASOIAF series and as for comics I think of starting to read Uncanny X-Force (I have heard lots of praise about it).

Just started reading The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi.

Seems a good read thus far, in the biopunk sub-genre like Fairyland by Paul J McAuley. The fact it is set in Thailand is just icing on the cake for me, although I dislike the Anglicised transliteration - but I always do.

Right now I’m reading “Dance with Dragons” by George RR Martin. It's an engrossing, entertaining and unpredictable read. I highly recommend it!

I'm almost done with Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. A humorous book about an Angel and Demon trying to stop the end of the world. Its pretty good.

That book is awesome and a precursor to an excellent film...

Michael Marshall Smith (?), spares.

Really good book, was lent to me by a collegue who couldnt say enough good things about it. I Cyberpunk-ish hardboiled noir that randomly morphs into a scanner darkly meets the matrix, but not really.

It feels like its 2 different books joined together, changing gear on you halfway through, but a good read if you don't mind things being dangled I front of you all the way through then suddenly explained in a couple of offhand lines later in the book.

I've started The Carpetbaggers by Harold Robbins. Was looking for something to read at a bookstore and found it interesting. Read a few chapters and I'm really enjoying it (the style kinda reminds me of The Godfather a little bit). :-)
