One of my current faves:

Not generally a fan of heavy metal/death metal, whatever genre you'd like to call this, but this song is good, and Maria Brink is so fuckable.

A few days ago Dave Brubeck died, so I'm listening to this pretty often:

get the feeling that, somewhere down the line, I'll really like this.

not in the right mood, right now. but somewhere... yeah. definitely think I could like this.

(also? taking a little umbrage with your closing remark, imp. not gonna lie. but... hm. by the by. *shrug*)

THE POGUES/KIRSTY MACCOLL - FAIRYTALE OF NEW YORK

well played, ush.

the best 'christmas' song. ever. hands down.

HUGE admirer of Ms MacColl. have paid tribute to her bench in Soho Square more times than I'd care to remember. and much love for McGowan and his Pogues. if ever I could be considered a poet in the classes of Shane or Kirsty, I'd pass on, a happy mare.

as to me, I appear to be listening to this, right now...

"we are, each of us, a multitude."

possibly the most endearing of the SoS vids. Sagan and Attenborough laying down the rhymes. humbling.

but, yeah. evolutionary trance amongst the seasonal reflection and carnal metal.

Perhaps I could've used a better adjective to describe her: hot, sexy, gorgeous.. Did not mean to offend, I guess that was just the pervert in me speaking at that moment.

Jim Croce - Bad Bad Leroy Brown

Can you believe he was only 30? Looks every bit in his 40s-50s I think.

This week for me the main song I've been playing each day is:

I like everything I've heard off their new album. "Blood" is crazy good and "Whore" is growing on me the more I hear it on Octane on XM.

it's a drink and drugs kinda evening. and a sixteen-year-old me appreciates this.

Stuck in the habit of packing, unpacking, then packing again...
