That was great - love those type of reviews. Got to admire that ratings scheme: Wanton Violence/Crime (W), Impudence/Hate (I), Sexual Immorality (S), Drugs/Alcohol (D), Offense to God (O), Murder/Suicide (M). The WISDOM Ratings System - lol.

I am so sorry this report is so late. Though the film has been playing for a couple weeks now this report is still before the film reaches video.

And who says religious types are out of touch with the modern world...

I like how it starts.

I am so sorry this report is so late. Though the film has been playing for a couple weeks now this report is still before the film reaches video. I am losing a great deal of ministry time trying to find a secular job. Yes, it has come to that. It is now a race between finding a secular job to support six kids or someone stepping forward with the funding necessary to continue operating the CAP Ministry fulltime or someone willing to donate their time and effort to help us find and secure 501(c)(3) nonprofit funding. A fulltime 40-hour secular job with ten to fifteen hours per week commute time or the ministry 60 - 80 hours per week. One or the other. Both cannot be done.

I still can't tell whether it's real or a parody.

The Joker is, of course, not responsible for his rampage of villainy and malfeasance. One must always understand that a bad daddy is the one responsible for his adult son's evil choices since the victim of a dysfunctional home never has a mind of his own.

Damn funny stuff.

I actually agree with that sentence.

Yes they are. But I want some more reviews from members and not crazed religious nuts. Although if the nut is a member then that would be ok...

Better than Iron Man, Hilk and both Fantastic 4 movies. But cmon DC... lets get past Batman and do something unexpected. Watchmen was great, but really from the DC mainstream Universe.

the dark knight:

any bat-file would be able to tell that the script was pieced together from various joker issues from the batman family. i think it's 4 issues others say it includes 7 issues.
batman now tackles two villians plus a slew of gangs in this latest movie.
harvey dent(Aaron Eckhart) played his character brilliantly.
christan bale's batman was vulernable and weak. as batman usually is when pushed past his endurance like in knightfall.
micheal cane(Alfred Pennyworth) and gary oldmen(James Gordon) played their roles as well as in the first movie.
Maggie Gyllenhaal(Rachel Dawes) replaces katy holmes for the role of DA. She played the part poorly and she looked withered and old. Very annoying and distracting.
heath ledger(joker) played a spooky joker but not one from the comics.
his joker was dark and not comical. an exact version of bale's batman.
it's almost as if you are watching a good and a bad version of batman.

for the most part it was an okay movie. if you don't follow comics or are not familiar to batman comics then you should like it. personally i found the movie insulting and it just shows that hollywood is willing to re-write characters in order to appeal to the masses.
that type of re-writing will eventually kill the superhero movie franchiases.
there's a reason why characters like the joker have been around for over 60 years.
it's concidency in the character. knowing that the joker you grew up with is basically the same as the one now.

would wolverine be liked now if he became a pansy?
spider-man become a killer?
captain america became a commy?

the only reason why this movie was hyped was because of the death of heath ledger, nothing else. in fact i read that one of the real reasons why they killed off batman in the comics was because they were fearful of how heath ledgers joker character would go over. they already knew how he was playing the character and they had concerns about his "dark joker". whether or not that story is real we'll never know, one must think though why do it if the movie was such a success?

7/10
