But this week was X-BatPool week! Several varieties of Deadpool, X-Men AND Batman books.

Sometimes, Liefeld -does- get it right. Like when there's little storytelling needed. And no weapons on the page... If you don't pay too much attention to his action panels, they're genuinely good.

11 out of 15 voted for Corps. And nobody for any other series.

deadpool corps should of just been a limited series and not a ongoing series. The concept was slightly different but after 6 issues they already saved the universe which was the premise of the series. why continue. I also thought deadpool merc witha mouth should of been a limited series. It got repetitive and felt like they were sretching the story out to last for more issues. I do not agree with keeping deadpool max and dropping deadpool team-up. Partially because I don't care for the mature content titles and yes I am old enough to understand and read them. I want to enjoy a comic not read about sex and swearing. I looked forward to laughing each month as deadpool teamed up with a new hero. as team-ups go they usually fought first then saved the day when they realised who the real villain was. It is nice having a comic you don't have to keep straight what happened each issue like you do with others and the many crossovers.

He used to be cool until he started getting oversaturated. He used to be one of my favorites now I almost can't stand him.

I get what you mean. I still like him, but his first ongoing and Cable & Deadpool were so much better than any of his own comics from the last few years. Cable & Deadpool is still one of my favorite series ever, but his current series is just kind of generic. It still has some funny moments, but it has a lot of stuff that isn't very funny or interesting. Also, Deadpool Corps was a horrible comic. If I ever see that damn zombie head Deadpool, Deadpool Dog or Deadboy again, I may scream (Lady Deadpool wasn't great, but an ok concept).

Deadpool has long been my favourite character, though I didn't discover him until right at the end of his first ongoing. I think the problem began with Ryan Reynolds revealing that he wanted to play DP. Marvel overreacted and completely overexposed Deadpool as a result.

Cut to now, he has one 616 series and a MAX book. I'm glad in that it leaves me with more disposable income, but hope that he was overexposed enough.

What am I, mad? Yes! But bare with me.

Wolverine joined the X-Men and became the most popular X-Man. He was overexposed but still maintains his own books and places on multiple teams. Even after Origins revealed his past and a film about him.

So why wouldn't that work a second time for a similar character? Badass, murders regularly, might be bad or might be good, X-Man, healing factor, Canadian...

He's been one of my favorite comic books characters next to Batman for a long time. My sister got me a few new comic books when I was a kid and one of them happened to be Deadpool. I didn't read it at first, but when I did, I loved him. He was a goofy badass that said a lot of weird things. I was a goofy kid that would say a lot of weird things, So you can see why I was drawn to him a bit more.

I like him as a character, and I might be a little partial at times, but I won't stop liking him simply because he's very popular or over-saturated. If that were the case, I would be hating too many things.

Deadpool is just a really funny character to read about. He constantly breaks the fourth wall (usually talking to the comic's editor for comedic effect). The humor in his main series is pretty good I enjoy it although i know some people do not. It is just a welcome change from all the other books out there.

I think he works better in a group book ( like X-force), on his own it can be a little much.

Deadpool used to be awesome but the Wolverine flick kinda ruined him and they made him pop everywhere all at once and overused him :(

I agree with that statement. I do prefer him in groups rather than solo. He needs people around him to tone him down a bit. I haven't read too much Deadpool stuff, but I do like his character.

Also, I also think that he's been popping up quite a lot over the past year especially. This Katsucon I saw at least 3 Deadpool cosplayers, and it wasn't even a comic book convention!
