So as I heard earlier this week or something Brock Lesnar was crowned UFC Champ does anyone think he deserves to have that title? And do you think his reign as champion will last for a while?

No I don't think he deserves to be the ufc champion he's curently 2 and 1 in the ufc and 3 and 1 in mma, the only reason he was given a title shot, I hope you I realize I said given cause he sure didn't earn his title shot with a 1and 1 record before his recent victory, was because of name recognition he can generate ppv #s. Oh and NO he won't hold the belt for much longer he's to inexperienced to hold off the sharks that'll be coming after the belt. Also as much as I hate to say this him becoming champion really hurt the ufc legitimacy in the heavy weight division.

Looks like he's going to have a tough time retaining his title as his first defence has been announced as being a unification match against Frank Mir, the guy who beat Lesnar in his first UFC match.

Anyone see GSP destroy BJ Penn a few weeks ago? Pretty dominate performance by GSP basically making sure Penn never tries to compete at 170 again. Also Rashad Evans is the new Light HW Champ after a TKO victory over Forrest Griffen.

Yeah, he caught Randy on the side of the head near the temple and jumped on him. He couldn't really take Randy down and i actually thought Randy would take this one. Lesner is very quick for a big man and has a lot of power, most importantly though he doesn't seem to have any fear when he fights. Mir looked amazing against NOG so I dunno if Lesner will be able to win the standup and he is at a sever disadvantage on the ground. But with the power he has he should be able to drop a lot of guys.

Saying all this the number 1 HW in the world is Fedor Emelianenko, and he would destroy Lesner and Mir in my opinion and probably in the 1st round. Of course since he will never fight for the UFC we won't ever know.

Beginnings of matches count for nothing, it's the end that matters :)

So true like in the Lashley Vs. Guida match I posted Lashley dominated the first two rounds and Lashley could have lost when he got put into that guillotine submission. So I agree with what Spaced said its doesnt matter how it begins it all depends on how it ends.
