I know this is a movie but I felt it was better suited in the Wrestling forum since its a wrestling movie. Has anyone gone and seen this movie with Mickey Rourke in it? And if yes what do you think of it? And even if you haven't seen it yet what do you think of it from what you have seen in the previews?

I am late as f**k on this but I enjoyed the movie and as a former indy wrestler I can honestly say that with few expections, that's how the independent scene is. The movie does NOT cast wrestling in a good light but it is a good movie.
Really good, pretty authentic, very worthy watch especially if you are a wrestling fan.

I know Necro Butcher and Ernest "The Cat" Miller were in it, not sure of any one else.

Ernest Miller is retired now but worked for WCW & WWE. Necro Butcher is still active, mainly working for CZW & RoH but also smaller indies & in Japan.

Not at all. In fact as soon as it came out Vince made a public statement heavily criticizing it, but he later retracted his comments (probably when he realized he could make some money off the back of it).

I wondered if they did since alot of talk in WWE about it and stuff that sparked the whole Jericho Vs. Legends at Mania. You know speaking of WWE Inc. and a wrestling movie you would think WWE Inc. would have produced a wrestling movie first or something and if they did it probably would have one of WWE's wrestlers star in it like more WWE Inc. produced movies have had

WWE won't make a real wrestling movie, more likely to be something along the lines of "Rocky for kids". There's just too much that goes on in wrestling that WWE would rather just have brushed under the carpet.

Going slightly off topic but just noticed that WWE are in negotiations to do a remake of Missing In Action and a follow-up to Scorpion King.

It'll just be another Egyptian fantasy romp - Scropion King vs. another bad-ass guy.

Doubt it. WWE probably can't afford him for their films as they are pretty low budget compared to most Hollywood flicks.
