yeah, not too thrilled at the moment. I was looking more forward to an Avengers vs Thanos movie or something along that line. . The Age of Ultron storyline stunk.

Looks like the movieverse Ultron is going to be Stark's baby.

Kevin Feige wrote:
Hank Pym will play a very big role in his own movie, which is released after 'The Avengers 2. When you see and talk to other people about the footage that we did, what they'll tell you is that it was an Iron Man helmet that was slowly, meticulously being bashed and ripped and sparked and torn apart into an Ultron face.

Joss Wheddon wrote:
We don't have to have him. It works very simply -- this is Marvel cinema, not Marvel comics. One thing Kevin Feige has a genius for is knowing what to hold onto and what to let go of. You can invoke the feeling you had and play with the characters you love and remain true to the needs of the film. You'll have to wait and and see, but you don't need a Pym to create an Ultron.

but.. but... continuity... err.. So, the most significant creation of Pym's (aside from the Pym particles) is being given to Stark.

Oh well, I guess. As long as the movie is entertaining, I'm good.

My issue is that Pym's failures sort of define him; if Ultron is no longer his creation, I wonder how that will affect his portrayal...

... and James Spader is the voice of Ultron. Don't really care for his voice, but it *is* only a voice.

Has not been confirmed that he will ONLY voice Ultron. The report is that he will "play." The extent of that has not been defined.

And Quicksilver is Kick Ass.

The Wrap wrote:
“Kick-Ass” star Aaron Taylor-Johnson has finally worked out his schedule and closed a deal to play Pietro Maximoff, better known as Quicksilver, in Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” an individual familiar with the sequel has told TheWrap.

Taylor-Johnson didn’t close his deal until Wednesday, as the “Age of Ultron” shooting schedule overlaps with his upcoming publicity tour for Legendary’s “Godzilla” reboot. That potential obstacle has been overcome and his availability to properly promote that creature feature and shoot the “Avengers” sequel is now ensured.

Marvel had no comment.

Stark DID create a suit AI that tried to kidnap and make him love it... So perhaps Ultron will be that.

So looks like it could be a bit like the first movie then - big bad for the big hitters & lots of foot soldiers for the scrappers to handle.
