From WWE.com

World Wrestling Entertainment® has been made aware of the passing of Andrew Martin. The WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Martin family. Mr. Martin was under contract with WWE at various time periods and performed under the name "Test." He last performed for the WWE in February 2007.

And so far thats all the information that I thought was solid info about that I could find.

:O

Just did a quick Google and I came across this from Pro-Wrestling Torch:

Quote:
Former WWE star Andrew "Test" Martin was found dead in his Tampa, Fla. apartment on Friday night, according to a report by PWInsider.com. Martin was 33 years old and nearing his birthday on March 17.
After being released by WWE in 2006 when he was on the ECW brand, Martin re-surfaced in TNA where he had a brief run until being released from the company.

Martin semi-retired from pro wrestling, then he was arrested on a drunk driving charge in Florida one year ago.

Martin was formerly in a relationship with WWE diva Kelly Kelly, who said in a February interview on the Bubba Love Sponge radio show that they remained close friends after their relationship ended.

Asked if Martin being released from WWE while Kelly was still with WWE had an effect on their relationship, Kelly said that was a strong factor.

"He's never been one at home waiting around," Kelly said. "He's on the other side of the coin now. I think that had a lot to do with it." She said Martin was planning to attend school to become a personal trainer.

No further details on the cause of death are known right now

You know I think it is sad specially when Test was in his prime and he still had alot to offer to the wrestling world.

He wasn't really anybodys favourite but I always had a bit of a soft spot for him. Do you think it's drugs again? 33... Waste of a life.

There could be the possiblity that it was cause of steroids but thats just my guess cause Test was a very muscular guy.

When a wrestler dies that young it's usually drug related (unfortunately). He's had steroid problems in the past but it'd most likely be something to do with pain killers if it is drugs. He had a pretty bad back injury a while back IIRC.

Damn. Just saw this. Used to be a big fan of WWF. It's a shame. So many wrestlers die before their time. I think even more so than other professional athletes. There really needs to be more drug regulation in wrestling, and less emphasis on being inhumanly muscular.

Vince McMahon needs to retire for that to happen.

That man is despicable. He's obviously been on some steroids with his massive physique.

Sorry, wrestling fans, but I hope TNA overtakes WWE one of these days. Screw Vince McMahon.

Well the results are in and it turns out to have been an accidental overdose of pain medication.

Quote:
According to the source, former WWE superstar Andrew "Test" Martin died of an accidental drug overdose. The actual cause was oxycodone intoxication. Oxycodone can be found in the likes of Percoset, OxyContin, and Percoden. It is currently unknown which one Martin misused.
