Did it really rain this much in England in the 1600's? Seriously, the making of this film must have caused a national hosepipe ban.

If you want a film with little story, plenty of decapitations, and an impression of Sly Stallone in the first Rocky film, then look no further. The plot was half decent but laid out really badly; you end up having to guess a couple of things for yourself. The acting was... Fine I guess. Nothing horrific but then it was hardly Oscar worthy either.

Don't get me wrong though, this was actually quite enjoyable. If you watched it with your tongue firmly in your cheek then you could get a laugh out of it. One to watch if your bored and can't think of anything better to do.

It is a well known fact that it rained all of the 17th century, which led to the invention of stilts and caused the price of mud to drop, and due to the poor conditions of the roads no-one could access Wales and it was subsequenlty fogotten about until it was re-discovered, by accident, in 1956.
The 18th century was mainly overcast.
