so how does one get access to comics. i was told this was a place to get digital comics but just seems like a forum?

I think you have to post a certain amount of times to get them to the point where all the shields are colored instead of black and white? I don't know though.

what shields?

you need at least 5 posts, then PM an orange moderator or leave a message in the chat box so they can promote you, I'm only a green moderator so I can't promote you myself, I'm not sure about the digital comics, maybe try the official websites for DC and Marvel?
