Interesting news. The Judas Contract was a terrific story line. Real heartbreaker too. The origin of Deathstroke and his relationship to Jericho was great as well. It will be really interesting to see how they are handled in Rebirth. Thanks for the news.

I gather that you are after a list of which "universes" were involved and in which comic?

The closest thing to a comprehensive list I can find is here

Description at the top, list at the bottom.

Thanks for that idris.

Interesting. Johns has a history of retrobooting, restoring characters to their bronze age versions. I don't know whether to be excited or scared. Guess I'm more "here we go again".

Source? As the quoted writer states, this is all speculation on their part. Anything more definite?

Superman/Batman Annual #1 (vol. 1)
I remember that . That was a really fun story. Quite good.
I hadn't heard of Deadpool at the time so the alternate Deathstroke was just a weird alternate version with healing powers, oh and he was nuts. Looking back now your are right. It is so obviously Deadpool.

Scott at Nerdsync does a pretty good summing up of the arguments for and against Deadpool being a ripoff of Deathstroke. One good thing about Scott's work is he always tries to find primary sources rather than relying on rumours and anecdotal evidence.

That could be interesting. Then of course both Marvel and DC have had series that went to new numbering and then went back to the old numbering, skipping over the numbers that were issued as new numbers. Marvel did it with Avengers and DC with Superman and I'm sure there were others as well. Mostly ...

I understand the appeal of new number ones as a jumping on point for new customers, and it seems saleshave shown that it works. Still I miss the old numbers in the hundreds that showed that certain titles were popular enough to last decades.

I've just finished reading the 9 issues through from start to finish and I have to put my hat in the liked it ring. <<<<SPOILERS AHEAD>>>> Since I remember reading the original Secret Wars many years ago, it's easy to see the parallels with this one, not in the details but in certain large sweeps - ...

Hmm interesting. I guess it won't be in continuity since he's going back to the old costume, but that's ok. His descriptions sound very intriguing. Could be really good. (New Krypton in L3? Ha! That's the same place Geoff Johns put it. Only this time it's been there for a while? And we haven't notic...

Hmm. Enjoyed the story, but it is certainly a character rewrite. The old Superman would never have violated people's rights as this one did, even if he did believe they were corrupt. That's the whole point of why Luthor as a business man works. Otherwise Superman would just haul him off to some deep...

Re: DCU REBOOT SOUNDOFF

Again!?!?!?! Calming down a bit, I have to admit that I became a serious adult comic reader (as opposed to a casual kid reader) with the crisis and man of steel reboot back in 1985 (yeah I know I'm ancient) and a lot of that reboot was handled quite well and I found it quite interesting seeing how t...

Hmff. Average. I guess I enjoyed it while I was reading it and I was glad that they didn't go the "big anniversary fight" path, but it still left me feeling like "was that it?" Some nice moments - actually a few excellent character moments - but just not an outstanding issue.

I agree with regards to the Legion and "the Great Darkness Saga". Definitely a highpoint, although another LOSH saga i enjoyed was the conspiracy/time trapper story in vol 3 46-50. While disturbing the "all-together-now" legion team the story, the wrapup especially was excellent. Giffen's Justice Le...
