Still don't know how they are going to fit a coherent story into the running time but they are definitely promoting it well.

It's cracked on at a fair old pace. Very much built on action and shock reveals but fully enjoyable.

I've not tried any of the one-shots either. Seem to get overall good opinions from my LCS crowd (the Batman one seems to be the best thought of).

I wouldn't mind Jock back for a full arc or maybe Snyder can pull one of his Vertigo cohorts in (Rafael Albuquerque or Sean Murphy) for a few issues.

So ANAD - who's liking what & why?

I'll admit I had no intention of buying any ANAD books as none of the creative team/character/pitch combinations appealed but I've ended up sampling a few.

Sadly none so far have even encouraged me to pick up an #2.

However, grumpy old bastard aside, what are you all reading & liking?

The first part of the story proper was Justice League #41 (there was a prologue of sorts in JL #40 but it's not essential reading for the story as a whole).

Endgame was a bit meh for me too but I have been enjoying Superheavy.

I wouldn't be adverse to Snyder/Capullo taking an arc off to recharge. It may work in their favour in the long run but who would be able to step in & keep the sales up?

Could be interesting but kinda looks like the Avengers 2.5 that I thought it was going to be.

I occasionally catch the highlights package on BT Sport when I remember it's on. Been a long time since I was actually hyped to watch a fight though.

Re:

Thought it was a fine first issue. I can see it having a broader scope than just focusing on the OM for the most part.

Lol, no. Think this might just be one to skip for the young 'uns.

As good as he looks in this, I hope Leto/Joker doesn't overshadow the movie. I want to see a Squad movie.
