I think one of my favorite books to recommend to females is Fables. It is a brilliant series and they reinvent practically every character from Disney stories and folk/fairy tales. The writing and art are both spectacular. There was talks about a miniseries but the new show "Once Upon a Time" is too...

Personally I haven't read much, but I really enjoyed Yellow by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale. (One of the best creative teams in my opinion.) and Love and War by Frank Miller and Bill Sienkiewicz. The art in this book is so fantastic. The portrayal of Kingpin is beautiful, from the wall paper shirts and th...

I am trying to find the first issue because the shop I went to today only had the second. I'm a big Lov...
I think the Goon is great! I read up to Chinatown I believe. I think Franky is such a funny character. There is one scene in particular where they are up against the Octopus airborne militia, and Franky hits em with a good ol "Knife to the eye!". I always have a great laugh reading it.
I loved the show. Very disappointed that they cancelled it. It seemed like there may have been a slight chance of renewal, because I read that NBC dropped the axe before the season had finished. As it progressed, it gained more viewers. The last I heard was that it is lost in the wings. Such a shame.
Oh definitely! Lone Wolf and Cub is my favorite manga. I first read it when my cousin had a had the smaller books. He didn't have all of them so I downloaded the complete .cbr. I love it so much, the art and the writing is tremendous. I love that they break it down into small episodes. Some that are...
