Princess Ugg from Oni Press is a nice new series. Ted Naifeh does an excellent job drawing and writing it.
It's about a barbarian princess who is sent to an academy for all the realms' royal princesses. She does not fit in well at all. It's pretty funny in several places during he first (and so far only) issue. I do have high hopes that the successive issues continue this humorous atmosphere to the story.

If you liked Cerebus, or Rod Espinoza's great graphic novels this series will be a great addition to your pull list.

I love the mammoth character. 8)

Princess Ugg is holding up so far. I love the art work. The detail on a couple of the two-page spreads in particular is fantastic.

The characters are fun, although we haven't seen enough of a story to judge it, but it's still early days. It reminds me of Bone, in a way, albeit colour.
