So what do u guys think of the lockout? i wasn't worried at first but now we r only a couple of weeks away from the Hall of Fame Preseason game which kicks off the season for me...... hope they get this deal done by this week or we might have no NFL this year

I think we might lose some of pre-season, but I think they'll get it thrashed out before the start of the regular season

lock out may be ending soon....... espn is saying they agreed on a rookie wage scale yes lets gets this season started

I think everything would be ok by regular season too since too much is at stake (ticket revenues etc) so the owners especially, will push it through. I only hope the quality of football won't be affected since most players aren't really going through the essential training to stay sharp...

I know absolutely nothing about NFL, but I think its pretty cool that their players union actually has some teeth and can withdraw labour

Now that the lockout is over there has been so much craziness with trades/F.A. signings. Can't wait for the season to start. GO PATS!

There was never any doubt this was going to get done. The NBA lockout is going to be a completely different story. It could get ugly in the NBA. They might miss the whole season. The NFL was never going to miss a regular season game. Too much money for all of them.

My Falcons have added Ray Edwards and kept much of the important players from last years 13 win season. I would have prefered AJ Green in the draft but Julio Jones with Roddy White is a combo that will soon strike terror in the rest of the NFL.
