So I just read the first issue.. Never really read the original guys, but picked it up because of Abnett and his history with cosmic marvel..
It was really good! I was impressed, and look forward for the next issue.. It's not my favorite type of art, but fit ok, and the story looks promising..
Hope this will be a hit (unlikely I fear.. but hopefully it at least sells good enough to have a nice run..)

I thought Abnett's script was okay, despite perhaps too much annoying futurespeak. Didn't like the art at all. I'm sorry that they've rebranded the real Guardians of the Galaxy, and why Guardians 3000 if it's set in 3014? And where is Nikki?

Was tempted to try this but the previews I saw put me off. Art was the worst of the worst Image 90s style.

I stuck for the first three issues, and dropped it. I've read the originals(bits and pieces), and it just didn't feel like justice was done. A fun story, but not worth what I have budget wise.
