So with the snowstorm bringing a crashing end to my comic reading fun I decided to try something new until the delivery truck finally makes it over the mountain and through the woods. So I went to the local big box store and picked up Legend of Korra Book One: Air

Code:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1695360/

It was a little over $10 and run time is listed as 289 minutes. Should take my attention off my empty coffee table until it gets covered in comics again.

The animation so far looks very good. It was made from the creators of Avatar the Last Airbender and shares in that universe. Hopefully I wouldn't have needed watched the Avatar series to get into Legend (Avatar came out when I was deployed overseas).

Comments welcome.

P.S. Wow! This show kicks butt. 8)

Although it is not necessary to watch Avatar the Airbender to enjoy watching Legend of Korra; LoK was so awesome I am looking at getting Avatar on DVD now.

Definately one of my favourite shows right now, although season 1 was better than season 2 I am loving season 3 right now. Dont get me wrong, season 2 was really well done too just not as interesting to me.

And I agree, you can watch it without having watched ATLA But it's really worth it and gets you sucked in to this immersive world.
