I was reading I kill giants and I was thinking how awesome would it be to play a D&D version of the Marvel universe. Any thoughts anyone? Would you play a game like that?

I always enjoy traditional RPG's, and I'm still waiting for a good console/PC version, there is just so much scope.

when me and my friends played D&D we did do a comic themed game with a few changes to the rules when we found that they didnt work right

'Dear Mortal Head of State,
I came here today to explain the true and total consequences of your actions over the last several months. I'm guessing after today that would be unnecessary.
It's not every day that a human finds himself responsible for the death of a god and then on that very same day escapes facing another.
Surely fortune favors you, and the men I spared. Enjoy it.
But before you wash your hands of my father's blood, I would encourage you to reflect on what brought us to this point:
You sacrificed honor for expediency. You traded intent for quick action. You were wrong . . and we all suffered for it.
So do better now mortal man . . for if not I, then surely some god somewhere will someday find you wanting.
It would be a shame to wager your good fortune with folly.

The God of Fear.
Son of War. '

There already is one -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvel_Sup ... ng_game%29

Never used that system myself but did DM Marvel themed session of "Golden Heroes" and "Top Secret" many years ago.

I remember seeing a newer one in the early 2000's Marvel Universe RPG too.

You could probably modify this system:

It looks interesting and I've read that overall it's good. You could probably base a campaign in the marvel universe with very little tweaking.

I would absolutely love it, I know Mutants & Masterminds is similar, but not quite.
