Cast:
Ben Affleck - Daredevil/Matt Murdock
Jennifer Garner -Elektra Natchios
Colin Farrell - Bullseye
Michael Clarke Duncan - Wilson Fisk/Kingpin

About a week ago I watched this movie for the first time. I didn't go in with high expectations because of all the things I've heard about it. But, I liked it. Sure, it had some parts that didn't fit the comics, and a few WTF moments (Like a HUGE Pipe organ. It must have been 100 feet tall) and they could have had a better Bullseye, and the casting for Kingpin was weird (but not bad)but I liked it overall. It had some good action, and the story wasn't bad. It also had the mandatory Stan Lee cameo that was pretty cool.

It was basically about Daredevil meeting elektra, with a few scenes telling his origin. It wasn't really an origin story, since only a small part of the movie is about it. If you know what happened between Daredevil, Kingpin, Elektra and Bullseye than you know the basic story, and if you don't I won't ruin it for you. The final fight between Kingpin and Daredevil was pretty good. I'd recommend this movie.

7.5/10 :bullseye:

I'm glad there are more people who don't hate this film. I think the worst thing about it was Affleck and the DD costume, but the story played out well and overall it was enjoyable.

I actually LIKE this movie, alot. The Director's Cut was actually alot better and people give it alot of grief because of Affleck but other than that, the movie was fun. The effects to show his 'sonar' are pretty good too

Didn't know there was a director's cut but thought the movie was ok. Would you recommend I check out the director's cut consider I thought the standard version was so-so?

The Directors Cut always gets a lot better reviews than the original, I would say it's probably worth seeing for yourself.

I thought the film was ok. I'm not a big fan of the comic, so I didn't quite follow what all of the criticisms were about. I thought Bullseye was a good character. I'm staying well clear of Electra though - the reviews are far too negative for me to bother watching it (a bit like Catwoman).

I personally liked it, it had a more mature edge to it, and the characters are very intriguing. I will be picking up some comics surrounding the 'series' as soon as I return home.
