I have this problem... a book buying problem. I end up buying books because I love the story or find it interesting but rarely ever finish most of them. I end up putting another on the shelf and now I've started buying e-books... Anyone have this book hoarding problem?

I never pick a new book unless I finish reading my current one,and it's easy for me to give them away because I only need to read something once or twice before being done with it for good

e-books on the other hand are super cheap and they don't spend most their days gathering dust and taking shelf space, but you can't sell or gift them like you can paper books

I have hundreds of paperbacks that I bought in cheap bookshop thinking that one day I would get around to reading them, I have had to stop going into the cheap bookshops as I have run out of storage space, I have also bought an ereader which has helped.

Any time I haven't finished a book/novel it's been because I thought it was absolutely godawful and not worth my timeto get to the end. I tend to buy them sparringly and finish them off in a couple of sittings. Only exception being anthologies, which I do tend to dip in and out of when I feel in the mood to read something in that genre.

Comics on the other hand, my "to read" pile turned into a "to read" box and has now become a "to read" long box...
