Apple employs some of the best inventive minds and marketing strategists out there,they also have a strong fanbase,Apple pretty much has everything going for it,I see no reason for the company to be so paranoid.

their main competitor is Android,but they couldn't risk going to court with them because Android is owned by Google,so they picked on Samsung instead,because Samsung makes the best Android-based products right now,next they''ll go after Sony or some other major Android label.

Apple's lawsuit was BS. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that.

Every TV pretty much looks the same, same with laptops, dvd players, appliances. The general shape and design shouldn't be able to be patented. Fuck Apple.

If the lawsuit was such bollocks, they wouldn't have won. I don't believe they should try and block sale of the offending products but I looked at some of the evidence and it was pretty obvious Samsung straight up changed the entire direction of their product line to be more like an iPhone when the iPhone came out.

Only thing I would quibble with is saying paranoid. I think you mean greedy. The lawsuit was just about the patents they wanted to halt Samsung's sales in different markets. They didn't even want people to have a chance to see the 10.1 Tab. They are the new microsoft.

Apple do have the most initiative minds working for them. Everything has to be stylized, and because they do they have the most zombie like fanbase on the planet. I mean fuck they think the iPhone 5 could boost US GDP by 0.5%. That's just the damn phone we're talking about.

Apple are the biggest corporation on Earth, I doubt they fear anyone. But the cash reserves Google have is insane. They could get in to an eternal lawsuit with the amount of cash they could throw at it.

Samsung definitely do make the best Android products overall. I have an S2, my friend just got the S3. Both works of art, and a joy to use. Especially once you root them.

all Apple did was block Samsung from selling their current devices in Europe,Samsung is still free to kick Apple's ass in other continents.

All goes to show it's just a territorial mish-mash of which court/country they decide to show the same facts in and which judge/jury they get on the day. If it was such an unargueable concrete case then they'd get the same result everywhere.

Samsung should use this opportunity to ban all Apple devices in East Asia
