You can always ask the store you bought it from. If not, I believe we could help you.

I was thinking of where you bought the pc, not the game.
First of all, how much could you spend for an upgrade?

Technically its my parents but it is a Dell computer. And in all honesty nothing right now because I didn't foresee this would be my problem. But You could still give me amounts so I know how much is needed.

how old are you ?

anything between $80-130 would get you a card that can render all games released to this point.

I don't think what age I am is important to this particular topic but so you know I am 23 and yes I still live with my parents at the moment. Its not such a weird thing to see someone of my age still living with my parents. Because for me I am still working on getting my own place and stuffs so I don't have live here anymore.

S.H.I.E.L.D - it would be best to take it to a certified computer technician who could do the upgrades for you, for a decent GFX capable of running the game @ approx medium settings, you will be looking around $55-70, or like Lex said above, a little more for something to run all games released to date at a comfortable rate.

For RAM/memory, it depends on what type of RAM your main board supports, and looking at the list of specs you posted in your OP, and the fact that its a Pentium 4 compatible system, I guess we're looking at DDR2, so that may set you back $30-40 for maybe 2GB.

And then you have labour costs on top of that, I'm gonna take a punt at around $60+. But if you can manage to find a smal independent store you should be looking a little less than that.

Hope this helps you on your way to The Old Republic ;)

P.S my son still lives with me and my wife and he is 21, so age is irrelevant to living with your parents.

Well if anyone is paying for the upgrade it would be me since I am the one who wants the upgrade. And would it at all help if say I uninstalled some unnecessary files? Because I think I have some things that I have downloaded that I don't even use anymore.

as long as the files in question aren't native to "C:\Windows" you should be fine.

A little late to answer. I'm adopting spaced habits :)

gothik pretty much covered my thoughts. The prices are a bit higher. I was thinking of these but in Euro.
You can always save money if you replace the gpu and ram by yourself.

most people still live with their parents or are being forced to because of crappy economy

best advice is to buy a new pc...or you'll need to upgrade everything
