Is giving your significant other a comic book character nickname too nerdy?

Okay, maybe I'm just one giant nerd, but I have to know if anyone else does this. Has anyone ever given their boyfriend/girlfriend a comic book character nickname as a term of endearment?

I call my boyfriend my Thor. :thor: He think it's cute that I call him that, but only in private because I seem to have surpassed nerd lines.

Just wondered if anyone else does anything like that.

Much love,
Harley :harley:

Lol, I don't call my boyfriend a comic book name, probably because he indulges my comic habits but has no problem reminding me when I get "obsessed." During Thanksgiving one time, we kept trying to say "My honey" faster than the other person, ended up sounding like "Money" and so we ended up calling each other that. Really weird when other people here it because they don't quite understand that it's not referring to actually money but in stead...m'oney... But this all happened well before I was back in a comic phase, so by the time a new nickname could have been decided...didn't happen.

Well, I gotta say calling him Thor is better than what he wants me to call him. He keeps trying to get me to call him "Daddy". I absolutely refuse. I can't exactly understand the male reasoning behind why they like to be called a father figure to the one they are with. Just sounds odd to me.
