ido agree with sinister as far az x-villains. i though we would see him in a movie by now (we've had 4 or 5). He'd be a greatbuild up to apocalypse too.

For x-men, gotta say nightcrawler and banshee, both veteran x-men with leadershipskills

I gotta go with Iceman. So much potential, yet he gets no respect. We all saw what Emma did when she was in control of his body and powers.

X-23.

Her Origin may have been brought about by the cartoon, X-men Evolution, but still has made major head way since debuting in the real Marvelverse.

Yes she was a member of Emma's new X-men, with my second choice for underrated X-man, Surge, but she hasn't real made a big impact on the verse. I'll admit, omg, a Wolverine Clone that almost more badass than he is. Yes that has impact all on its own. But beyond that, I feel, she is, UNDERRATED.

A couple of others to think about:

Gambit- A mutant so powerful he had part of his brain removed by sinister to keep his power in check

Franklin richards - Highest levels omega class mutant, It would be great to see him get a little older and take up the mutant cause

I have to agree that Mr. Sinister misses the love most of the time. :( Hes just the most meritless unredeemably evil character ever. How can someone not love that?

I guess they dont want to fully unleash him, cause he could be too powerful.. I mean he can freeze the water molecules in the air, humans are 90% water - he should be able to easily freeze humans.. though I guess that might kill them, so maybe that will prevent him doing that..
We have seen him look better both when he was under Emma's control, and in the Age of Apocalipse.. I hope they show him more respect in the future..

There was a time when being an X-Man was a bit more selective of a term. Nowadays it seems like anyone with an x-gene is considered a de facto member of the team.

That being said, my choice for most underrated X-Man would probably have to be Storm. She seems to have been relegated to being the bride of Black Panther and a background character in Astonishing. This is a character who at one time led the team. I long for the days of badass mohawked Storm.

Until the last two issues of Uncanny, I would have put Colossus as a close second but I think
Spoiler: show
becoming the new Juggernaut has put the spotlight on Pete in a big way that I am not sure I like yet.

my choice is colossus.
i feel he never has had his so called 15 minutes.
has there ever been a more mysterious character?
i personally do not care for him, but, i would like to get to know what goes on in his Russian head.
has he ever had a true on going?
i am sure there have been one shots, but do we really know who he is?
i feel his time is due,the only "bummer" is that i would more than likely not even read it!
sorry colossus!

jubilee. i think in the cartoon series, she didn't have that great a power but now...with a new power set i would love to see her and x-23 do some adventuring.
