One Piece is one of the best mangas i have read(over 200 on that count). Anyway would love to see Luffy have a serious battle now that the 2 year leap is over and show off his powers gained from training

I started up at the Whitebeard war and have been hooked since, I just wish they would be in some more interesting battles. He's hinted at how powerful everyone is now, but its time to actually see it in a battle.

I really like that I can still enjoy One Piece, even after more than 600 chapters. It's still as fun as when it first started.

And as the Straw Hats just reached the New World, we still have many years ahead of us!

I've been reading and watching One Piece for what feels like forever now, and the best part is that the creators aren't being stupid like so many other on going series. They know what drew in their fans, and they're sticking to it. Instead of like Naruto or Bleach where it starts off one way and then turns into something completely different half way through.

I started reading this last year. At first it was just because I ran out of Naruto releases to read but I quickly got addicted to it. Since Naruto seems to just be slowing down and getting boring. (A few of my friends think its being rushed towards some crappy ending.) I have found that I actually like this manga more than I liked Naruto. Its interesting and does not end up getting boring. I only wish that I had not already caught up to the current chapters.

After the time skip, the Straw Hat pirates look even more ridiculous.

Not in a bad way though.

Zoro and Sanji have seemingly become ridiculously strong, What with them being able to take out the Pacifistas without problem.

Even Ussop and Chopper who were clearly the weaker members seem to have buffed up in skills and what not.

The current arc now seems like a prologue for bigger things to come. Hoping another large arc comes.

Really too bad there wasn't a new chapter released this week.
One Piece has become the longest-running manga series I have read, to date.

Eiichiro Oda has done a fantastic job of keeping the characters evolving, and still very true to their roots/origins.

One of my biggest problems with most American-based comics is that they change writers so much that, so many characters feel very alien and unfamiliar from time to time. And sometimes they do a big shake-up, then turn around and reset it back.

When I was firs tintroduced to One Piece, the art style really put me off. Some of the characters looked very odd, and outlandish. But as I got into it, all the exaggerations and oddities really helped overall 'feel' of the story. These elements really helped selling the funny situations, and the serious/sad ones.
