Just picked up a copy of Borderlands 2...very good game and better than the first. Dishonored comes on next week, looking forward to that (Bethesda). The story and the grpahics all appear good the only thing that bothers me is the linear gameplay. I read that its single missions and you are free to explore but the game as a whole is pretty linear (Rage).

Also Assassins Creed 3 looks really good and the story seems very interesting.

Any thoughts on these games?

Dishonored holds a lot of my interest - though, I would've preferred a 3rd person approach to the concept.

Assassin's Creed 3, when it was announced, sounded like it'd be the first AC game I'd enjoy/purchase - the trailer worked against that, however. So, I'm forced to wait until either a) someone I know gets the game, and I can see it in-person, or b) someone who's opinion I trust is similar to my own in the way of vidja games comes forward with some top-notch words of praise.

Also got my eye on:
LEGO Lord of the Rings - LEGO games have always been entertaining.
Marvel Avengers: Battle For Earth - though, from what I can tell only the 360 version will release this month?
The War Z - Survival.Horror.MMO.

Dishonored looks cool, I hope its good. I'm really excited for XCOM - Enemy Unknown. It looks like a great game, and its on the top of my list of game I want to get.

Yes...forgot about XCOM...old school. War Z looks like it will be good and probably very addicting. Has anybody played Day-Z?

I am currently addicted to Borderlands 2, and XCOM looks awesome (the strategy title, not the FPS reboot(?)), but screw October, Halo 4 is out in November ^_^

Well...
I already beat Borderlands 2 like two times and it was really enjoyable and totally worth the money (Which you won't hear from me very often)

Iam playing Dishonored at the moment and from what I've seen so far it is really good. Its something different. Reminds me of a "Steampunk-Bioshock-splintercell-Game" with the graphical style of Half-life 2.

Really looking forward to Assassins creed 3 I loved the series so far.
Too bad I'm gonna have to wait another month because I am on PC.

I WAS about to get Xcom and was really excited about it but when I heard it was a console port i kinda left it behind on my list.

Also looking forward to:
LEGO Lord of the Rings (Got to play it here at Gamescom .Played every LEGO game and proud of it xD )
Injustice (Also tested it already and I liked it)

Other than that theres not much more iam too excited for this year.. I think.

Im hooked on Borderland 2, lots of fun. Dishonored is next but AC3 looks unreal and a good change to the other AC's.

Next up for me is Far Cry 3 in December and Bioshock in Feb

What he said.

As much as Dishonored caught my eye in October, it's Halo 4 that I've been saving my pennies for.

Nothing, sadly. Even though I recently got a copy of Red Dead Redemption GOTY Edition, which should be consuming my life whole, I've not been able to sit down and turn on my Xbox in months.

Wow...well winter is coming (for some of us), so there will be time for gaming. Red Dead is one of my favorite games ever. Im currently playing Borderlands 2 and enjoying it.
