I always loved Gambit, because no one (that I know of) has powers like his. His Cajun styling goes perfectly with his abilities, and how many superheroes get to throw cards?

I also always liked Banshee, and am pretty excited to see him in First Class.

Warpath is completely underrated. His big brother is a legend that he's constantly trying to live up to. He's a strong/fast/scrapper/tracker. He likes knives. He's got mad honor.

I love iceman and banshee and always would like to see them more. (Uh, especially Banshee.) Sweet powers. Classic style.

Can't say I get people saying Gambit is underrated. He's the epitome of the 90s comics badass and was one of the faces of the franchise for a while. Granted, this was during one of the worst times ever for X-Men comics. But that just gives him more of a suck factor than overrated.

I'd have to agree w/ blackthought in terms of Warpath. He's always been one of my favorites, and it's a shame that he isn't as known as some of the other front-liners. I see loads of potential for further development of his character that people don't realize. Definitely one of the most underrated characters imo. He's Wolverine on steroids more-or-less . . . why shouldn't people like him?

I think for my money I would say Boom Boom. She has a pretty good set of powers and skills. Awesome explosions, thief skills, and pretty good hand to hand.

Yet she doesn't get much "screen" time.

i think dust was underrated, she could basically pretty much beat anyone, as you couldn't touch her and she could strip you to the bone

I like Jamie Madrox as he's written in X-Factor. He isn't the most powerful mutant, but he's clever, and that goes a long way. I suppose he's underrated because he's one of a few characters without claws (kidding).

Actually this is going to sound strange but Magneto. His power is off the charts but they only have him use a fraction of it. I remember one issue a long way back where he changed the pathways of someones bloodstream by manipulating the iron in the blood. that's power
