I am thrilled that there is going to be a Lego game with a hundred Marvel characters to play with. I don't know what system to get it for though. Ps3 or Wii U? I can't decide! Any ideas?

I haven't played a LEGO game since the first LEGO Batman. This might just get me to pick up another.

The only problem I have with the current Lego games is the fact that they have given the minifigs voices! It doesn't really have the same feel...but I won't stop playing them, I do have a mute button after all ;)

I haven't played a Lego game in awhile, but I'm excited for this (I also plan to play Lego Batman 2 and LOTR eventually). A lot of good characters, plus I am glad the games are actually getting some story, not just some ok miming thing. I played a lot of Lego SW 1 &2 and Lego BM 1. They were fun, but I always wondered what would happen if they had a bit more effort put into the story parts. LOTR and batman 2 seems to have bennefitted from more story (and voiceovers), so I'm sure MSH will be great. I just hope it doesn't have DLC. LBM2 making some of my favorite DC heros [The original Captain Marvel and Zatanna] DLC only really put LB2 down on my list of games to get. If MSH comes out but only has characters like She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel or Spider-Woman as DLC, I'll be angry (I want a lot of characters to be in the game, but when it comes to my favorites if they aren't in I'd rather they just not made, then I won't have to be angry with the fact that they exist, but I can't get them like I am with Shazam and Zatanna in LB2).

Lego LOTR didn't just have voiceover, it took the audio from the movies and put it into the game. Cheaper than paying sound-alikes to record the exact same dialogue, I suppose.

At least Batman 2 and this will have some decent voice actors. Troy Baker is just great.

Honestly, not too impressed. Videogames already did Sandman doing -all of that- with Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions... And Loki as the badguy? Over done.

very true.

played and loved Lego SW, and the first Lego Batman. got Lego Batman 2, played it once the day I got it... then it was just gathering dust. then my friend came round for a gaming day, and we persisted to beat the holy hell out of each other, whilst attempting to actually play the game. great fun.

disagree muchly that the voice acting 'bennefitted' (sic) the latter games. part of the charm of the earlier games was, for me, in the expressions and the physical comedy. in the 'storytelling without words'.

I agree. It seems to make more sense to me if they don't talk. My lego minifigs never spoke when I was a kid, and they were awesome.

My current collection of over 100 minifigs still don't talk, and I'm slowly losing my mind :?

Not so much conversations, as insightful quotes and one liners.

I started whith Lego Star Wars when it came out. I played it with my best friend and it was awesome:
Since then I have played every single lego game, although they got worse from game to game.

LEGO Marvel is one of these games I am really excited about.
I recommend you to check out the Comic-Con Footage of the game. It's quite awesome :wolverine: :captain: :spider: :iron: :hulk: :thor: :hawkeye: :deadpool: :bullseye: :galactus: :namor: :nightcrawler: :shocker: :goblin: :venom: :torch:
