It's a Bird... [Vertigo]
written by Steven T. Seagle
art by Teddy Kristiansen

Just finished reading this graphic novel. I must say I liked it very much.
The story is about a guy which writes comics and suddenly gets the offer of writing Superman. One of the greatest comic-characters ever.
The guy is not sure if he should accept the offer (he has some traumas related to Superman).
To whole story goes around the guy's definition of Superman (he's seeing Superman as a negative icon).
Through the comic the comic writer is dealing with his issues with Superman and his family (with a family disease that's genetic - he fears of having it).
The drawings in this graphic novel are simple but expressively strong (like the story).
I definitely recommend this graphic novel.
