That's being handled in GotG by all accounts. Infinity is set to be Hickman's baby so everything is going to be in the main series plus Avengers & New Avengers.

I'm so tired of all these pointless events.. And, dammit, I still want Richard Rider back as Nova.

you and me both, but at least their last few events have been short and self contained for the most part, and that's a plus in my book

here is what i think is going on between the paradoxes coming from aftermath of age of ultron , and the messed up cross up of the system from those two crazy beings on mars plus the rebirth of starbrand and nightmask in 616 earth and the parrel earths colliding in new avengers the all of reality is damaged aand the great powers of the universe are very angry about it also don't think the celestials are to be very forgiving when two earth mutants cut up a bunch of them with thor's misplaced battle axe.

The first issue was about as weird as Hickman's avengers (although maybe slightly less confusing). I think this is going to be a hard event to get through :?

100% agree with batman55555, the 1st issue was confusing in my opinion, as is Avengers. Im not liking the new art that seems to have evolved since AvX. I guess my main problem is the story, too many new characters/species created that weigh the reading experience down. I miss the days of Civil War where the art and story were both great.

Personally, I enjoyed the first issue of Infinity and Avengers #18. Then again, I'm caught up on the continuity of the story so I'm not left behind, scratching my head, wondering what the heck the Builders, Alephs, and Captain Universe are. It's a lot to explain to people that haven't been following, but I think the story is interesting enough to warrant further reading.

I've been following Avengers since issue #1, and I don't even know who the Builders, Alephs and captain Universe are  Well, ok, I guess I kind of know, but honestly the builders are lame and poorly written, Captain Universe is not acting like normally does (it went from giving random people the uni-power to now just saying really stupid, mostly nonsensical lines to people and only posessing one person), and in general Hickman's Avengers has been pretty bad and really confusing. Avengers #18 was ok because I could actually follow it, but I really hope that, after this, Hickman isn't allowed near an event again (and if he were to have to give up atleast one of his Avengers books, I wouldn't complain <_< ).

This is what Hickman does though right? Really slowly built story arcs that then culminate and blow us away. I was also very confused by all the new Marvel Now Avengers titles that Hickman was writing but I can finally now see it all coming together in Infinity so I am reluctantly excited about it
