Hi, how do you guys maintain comic books? What are your steps and quirks and secrets in preserving them?

I'm cheap and lazy so...I use ziplock baggies. lol Just dug some out and looked them over and it seems to work really well. I put about 7 comics per bag ( I think its quart size). Over here it molds and mildews real easily cause it rains so much and is hot, but the comics look great. Can press all the air out before you zip it shut.

Makaweli's idea is actually pretty handy. I buy plastic comic-book sleeves online in bulk. They're pretty cheap.

My LCS bags all the comics they sell so all I need is to buy long boxes to keep them in.

I bag all, board most, and all are in long boxes.

We have bags on board at our LCS. Essentially they're plastic slips that are the size of a comic, with a cardboard back in it to keep the shape. The comic just slips in and it then it is taped closed. It's....15 cents, I think. Not too bad :) see if your LCS has one.
