Hey all. I've been reading comics for a long time and wanted to check this place out.

I used to avidly devour comics and manga, especially indie, Vertigo, Dark Horse, generally the dark and twisted stuff, although I also loved Disney-esque adventures like Bone. Thieves and Kings was a long time favourite as well as manga such as Lone Wolf and Cub.

And then life caught up with me about ten years ago and I slowly stopped.

A few things happened recently to rekindle my interest. I discovered Comixology which allows me to read comics on my phone, and in the process of boxing up my old comics for my younger brother I couldn't help but read a few of them. Re-reading Transmet v1 with old [s]Moses[/s] Spider Jerusalem coming down from the mountain was wickedly nostalgic.

I'm exclusively reading comics digitally now - both DRM free and through Comixology. I'm finally reading those comics I'd bought from Humble Bundles and picked up a shiny new tablet to read them on.

I'm not a big fan of the A-list superhero comics in general. So I'll read specific self contained stories for a superhero, eg. Batman's The Killing Joke, but tend to steer more towards the other content. This is what I'm currently reading or have just finished:

Saga
Princeless
Courtney Crumrin
Princess Ugg
Archer and Armstrong
Filipino Heroes League
Walking Dead
Chew
Any Empire
Bad Boy
City in the Desert
Deadpool - Dead Presidents
Kingdom Come
Lola XOXO
Uber

I'm loving Image's current lineup and want to read more of that. I'm sure there's probably been some delightfully twisted manga graphic novels that I need to read as well.
