Between this and FF, Fraction has really stepped his game up, I can count on laughing out loud every time I read one of them. His previous run on Iron Man wasn't bad either.

I'm enjoying the book but the art isn't my cup of tea. It's not distracting from the book nor is it bad...just not my preference, This is easily one of Marvel's best books on the market so by issue #15 it'll be cancelled...

This is one of my favourite books of late, I can't wait to buy it in a proper tome!!And I have to disagree, for me the biggest draw is the artwork, I am loving the page compositions.

One of the best solicitations I've read in a long time, next to the ones for young Avengers.

Quote:
HAWKEYE #11
MATT FRACTION (W) • DAVID AJA (A/C)
• THE breakout character of 2012... becomes the breakout character of 2013... as PIZZA DOG gets his own issue.
• Literally... the entire issue... it’s all from the dog’s point-of-view.
• Pizza Dog gets hired to solve a crime -- the grizzly murder that shocked Team Hawkguy -- and the only thing more shocking than THAT... is what happens the end of THIS.
• Seriously. This is not a joke! Even the coloring. Dog issue. We’re all gettin’ fired. PLEASE READ...
“Pizza is my Business” ...before it’s too late for us.
32 PGS./Rated T+ ...$2.99

I've been enjoying this series so far.
I love it when a writer shows Clint as a (somewhat) normal guy who can hang out with and relate to other normal folks.
Nicieza's mini titled The High Hard Shaft from early 2000's also showed Clint as that kind of guy. Worth checking out.

#11 is the best comic book I've read in a very long time. Perfect marriage between art and storytelling. :hawkeye:

Looks like its Hawkeye that's gonna be getting kicked aside while Fraction gets to work on Inhumanity & his Image projects.

Pizza dog issue - self-indulgent mince. Everything else to do with this series? One of the best ever.

Hawkeye has been a top 3 book for me since it came out. Matt Fraction has done wonders on it.

As much as I hate Aja's art, I really enjoy the book (except the stupid dog issue).

Well, I for one thought the pizza dog issue was fantastic enough to be brilliant.

Top comic for me, still. I love every issue, even the dog one.
It's just overall refreshing.

My favorite thing to do is read it last after all the Avengers and other Marvel stories with all the crazy action and stuff...

then flip to him and he's standing in his apartment, dealing with some woman and scratching his head.

It's brilliant.

Same here, it's a really nice change up from the more mega villain of the day series. A great "every man" hero book.

Pizza dog issue was strange, but enjoyable. Not my usual cup of tea though!
