Cast:
Channing Tatum as Conrad Hauser/Duke
Dennis Quaid as General Clayton Abernathy/General Hawk
Marlon Wayans as Wallace Weems/Ripcord
Rachel Nichols as Shana M. O'Hara/Scarlett
Ray Park as Snake-Eyes
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Rex Lewis/The Doctor/Cobra Commander
Christopher Eccleston as James McCullen/Destro
Sienna Miller as Ana Lewis/Anastascia DeCobray/The Baroness
Byung-Hun Lee as Thomas Arashikage/Storm Shadow

I just finished watching this movie. I went into this movie knowing almost nothing about the GI Joe franchise, and I gotta say I liked this movie. It could be a little confusing at times (I didn't know until I looked it up online that Ana/Baroness is Rex/Cobra Commander's sister, but may just have been me not paying attention). This story has some good action, and the story itself isn't too bad. It involves nanobots that have been developed to eat metal. The GI Joes have to stop the bad guys from taking over the world. The scene where the Eiffel Tower was destroyed is pretty cool, and the fights between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow were great.

Overall, I'd give this a 7.5/10

Didn't care for this much. But then I guess I'm not the demographic it's aimed at. The ending was Sommers trying to do Star Wars and I thought I'd seen the end of the "comedy black side kick".
After Deep Rising and the first two Mummy films, I thought Sommers would be bring something to the party, I even thought Helsing was okay, but he seems to be getting worse with every new movie

I thought this film was hilarious - as long as you watch it like a young child - amazing special effects and everything (pity about the plot holes)
I loved it!

It cracks me up, when they put in "Knowing is half the battle".

I have never read the comics but to me this movie was quite entertaining. Good special effects too.
