The new books have been great. It would be nice to bring back Americas Elite

I agree man. I was a fan as a kid when Marvel was doing it. Hadn't picked up an issue for years and started in on the new IDW stuff. It is a fresh prospective on the whole thing that is believable (as much as it could ever be). It works well.

They could bring back the America's Elite books, like the original series, There is other groups they could fight against since cobra was brought down

G.I. Joe Cobra is FANTASTIC! I haven't been checking out the other Joe books, but based on how well this one has been....I may just have to.

G.I. Joe A Real American Hero has been pretty good since they brought it back. I love that they started where they left off years ago. The current story lines has storm shadow and snake eyes trading places. You would think this would piss off many fans but it has been handled really well.

Cobra Commander is not as goofy as he used to be but his manic side is still there. If you have not checked it out ... please do. Larry Hama has been at his best

I just started reading IDW’s Joe-verse, and it’s impressive. Never been a Joe fan, so I probably would have never looked at this had it not been for a friend’s recommendation. I think this is one of the best titles getting almost no attention. The Chuckles storyline blew me away. I also loved the Moore-inspired mirrored Tomax/Xamot issue and Max Brook’s Hearts and Minds mini. Civil War has started with a bit of a whimper, but hopefully it gets rolling soon.

Picked up the 1st IDW omnibus yesterday, loving it so far.

Their treatment of the characters is brilliant, I like their spin on Destro's origin. Cobra seems a lot more of an evil force in this version.

I agree. I really like how the treated the emergence of Cobra. I really liked the Croc Master story too.

Cobra has been the best part of IDWs G.I. Joe line. I'd start with that.

I'm just five issues in on the Cobra series, but I'm loving to so far. The art reminds me of those financial commercials, but It works out good. I'd like to get my hands on more of it when I can.

Not a big fan myself, too many pointless kills of well known characters for no good reason IMO, I guess I'm just old school so I will stick to Real American Hero with Larry Hama.

Well, a new #1 came out this week. I got it and never followed the series since like the 80s and I liked it a lot.
