Hi,

I was wondering for uploading stuff, are we limited to the format of cbr/cbz only? Or can we upload say comics in pdf as well?

As for my idea, I think it would be pretty neat if there were general synopsis added to download pages so that people can know what some of the stuff they're about to download is about, if they don't already know.

Nope, no restrictions on file formats. While cbr & cbz are the most recognised formats for comic scans, there are a number of pdfs on here so feel free to post links for then if you have them.

The synopses thing might be workable but I think most people just Wiki everything they don't know about nowadays anyway.

your ideas are well meaning, however: :-)

using the .pdf format is uncommon, the cbr/cbz format is easier for archiving, extracting and organizing the scanned images (with .cbr originally a .rar file while .cbz is originally a .zip file)

as Spaced said, there's no policy that restricts the formats that can be used, however I'd stick to cbr/cbz for reasons mentioned above. :-)

and for anyone looking to know more about what they're about to download could just use Google.
