What the fork??

Why didnt that happen ? Or are u making a joke?

Cuz in "Iron Age" they show his Alcoholoc-past.

true but they forgot about the 90's story arc called The Crossing where present day mind controlled crazy Tony was swapped out with a 19 year old from the past Tony then transported to the Heroes Reborn universe where he was transformed into an adult and then brought back to the 616 universe....so the Tony we have now skipped over all the alcoholic Demon in a Bottle stuff....The Tony in Iron Age was the same Tony that was replaced...all the alcoholic stuff happened to him....it's a bunch of confusing time travel alternate reality stuff that's best left forgotten which apparently it has been

I think we've all tried very, very hard to forget about "The Crossing" and Iron Boy. That was the event that made me finally stop collecting comics for a solid 10 years.

i liked the premise some of the issues were pretty good but the avengers tie ins were terrible spending half of each issue of avengers or new avengers having the characters answer dumb questions was a waste of time and money on the readers parts. those issues should have been balls to the wall straight up action. now they are going to do what they always do switch up characters in avengers with lame ass replacements uintil sales start to nose dive

So, trying to figure out some issues here. In this thread (fear-itself-reading-order-t13260.html) Kayruss gives the read order for Fear Itself. I am going through the archives trying to get them all and I have a couple of...issues, most specifically (so far) with this thread (post88026.html?hilit=Fear%20Itself,%20Worthy#p88026). In the reading order, comic number 003: is this the one-shot or the 1-6 mini-series? If it's not the one-shot, where does it fall in the reading order?

Thanks for the help on this, looking forward to diving in.

The one-shot is the collected mini-series. As they were only a few pages each.

Red Skull's daughter found an Asgardian hammer that possessed her. She awoke Odin's father who brought more hammers down to possess more people whilst simultaneously covering the planet in a blanket of fear. So most tie-ins are heroes battling the ones who are possessed by the hammers.

It seems like their trying to cash in the reality TV ploy with the way they're writing "New Avengers" with each Avenger telling their side of the story for a mystery persons "book" (sorry for all the quotes). I read them all, but find them a dull explanation of how each Avenger feels about the action that should be getting the bulk of the story.

My 3 cents. :captain:

So the this year's main event is "over" (only three epilogues and two follow-up mini-series to go...) but is the finale really as bad as the review sites are saying? Average rating is around the 40-60% mark and has been called the worst Marvel event of recent times (even worse than SI? Surely not...).
