I just realized that Tony Stark was never an alcoholic and that Demon in a Bottle never happened so his sacrifice in Fear Itself was meaningless....Odin should have known better

true but they forgot about the 90's story arc called The Crossing where present day mind controlled crazy Tony was swapped out with a 19 year old from the past Tony then transported to the Heroes Reborn universe where he was transformed into an adult and then brought back to the 616 universe....so the Tony we have now skipped over all the alcoholic Demon in a Bottle stuff....The Tony in Iron Age was the same Tony that was replaced...all the alcoholic stuff happened to him....it's a bunch of confusing time travel alternate reality stuff that's best left forgotten which apparently it has been

in order for Odin to let him in to Asgard to forge the weapons Tony had to get his attention by making a sacrifice so Tony sacrificed his sobriety to him by chugging a bottle of champagne

Kinda confusing ,because they didnt show the sacrifice in the main book,but that Odin did let him forge the weapons + the conversation . You have to read the latest Iron Man for the whole story, which was btw much more enjoyable.

@danhimself

TY for the explanation,didnt know. And now i googled "heroes return universe" :D
You know your stuff,sir!

agree, fear itself tie-in books seem to be all over the place, reading order is hard to keep up with this marvel event..... and yes some people buy and read all the books (not one of them at least for now only sticking to main story and certain tie-ins) but i all bought all the civil war tie-ins, secret invasion, house of m, dark reign, siege, messiah war and shadow land damn marvel keeps taking my money lol

my main problem with this whole thing is how the Norse gods who use to get their ass kicked by almost anyone have now become like the most important and powerful beings in the entire frigging universe it drives me up the wall
