I always enjoy hearing about peoples favorite finishers and seeing clips of finishers I haven't heard of before. So what are some finishers that you just love to see? I love the burning hammer, which I've only seen performed on youtube by Kenta Kobashi. Also always dug RVD's 5 star frog splash.

Bonus. Always hated the styles clash. Love watching AJ Styles wrestle but man that move looks weak just about every time he hits it.

Always liked Petey Williams' Canadian Destroyer.

And a well done Shooting Star Press looks fantastic.

Completely agree with those. First time I saw the Canadian Destroyer I rewatched it more than once and saved it for my friends to watch. Such an amazing move.

commented on the Canadian Destroyer over in the General Wrestling Discussion thread, before seeing this one. (post69248.html#p69248, if you're interested.)

although I will say that simply by virtue of having JERRY F'N LYNN in it, that clip is awesome.

personally... I always liked Buff Bagwell's 'Blockbuster'. not to say I was ever a fan of Bagwell's, mind you. guy never came across as anything other than a complete dick.

still, he was probably the first person I saw to use a somersault neckbreaker as a finisher, and I've liked it ever since. very simple, straightforward, athletic move.

here's Shane Helms performing it.

I've been a wrestling fan during the 90's and after that shifted to MMA. I haven't followed wrestling for a while but I think the best finisher is the Guilotine Choke. Very easy to apply even on defense and is even used in real fights.

I think this choke has been used as a finisher by Dan Severn when he was with the WWE.

nooo...the labell lock is not that great...and daniel bryan is WAYYY overrated, but so is the miz. wwe is super political when it comes to finishes of matches...which affects how to rate a good finisher. finishers should be blockable, but super effective, appliable in numerous circumstances, and can have various modifications and versions...like bret hart's sharpshooter.

submission holds should not really be finishers if they are automatic, but that depends on storyline. but finisher-wise...i do not see people kicking out of the pedigree...afterall its all politics and HHH is sleeping with the boss' daughter.
