First off I am a Canadian (so don't start people), and a huge MMA fan but not so much a GSP fan anymore.

Hear me out!

I respect his ability, I understand his skill, and his technique.

I don't like the fact that he rarely finishes off an opponent.

Does he win? Yes
Does he follow his game plan? Yes
Does he neutralize his opponent? Yes

But he doesn't finish them!!! I am tired of this new technique of jab... jab... get a takedown to win the round.

Knock them out!!
Submit Them!!
At the very least when they are on the ground hit them!!

My Opinion what's Yours?

I actually had this conversation earlier today with one of my buddies about GSP lack of fight ending. Sooner or later he's going to fight somebody who takes the fight to him. Its happened twice in his career so far (with hughes and serra). The Silva fight (even though it will probably never happen) would be interesting to watch but would most likely be both of them keeping distance refusing to commit.

i want gsp vs nick diaz...not saying diaz would win but he definitely has the stand up to push gsp and is too dangerous on the ground for gsp to just blanket him

see thats the thing with watching GSP, he doesnt really end fights but he is completely dominant in an entertaining way throughout the entire match, he wants a takedown he gets it, pretty much all the time.
He trades blows and has a superb ground game and is constantly moving.
ok his Last few matches have not been too fantastic I know, but He had a buggered eye in one and a buggered leg in another so you fant fault him for not fighting at perfect form for the last few matche
there are more flashy fighters out there but you want to watch someone who is consistantly good then GSP is your man
