I freakin love, LOVE this show, I was it all at least once a year since it aired on cartoon network. The movie kinda left me disappointed cause I was expecting a bit more.. But eh thats just my opinion.
But I love the soundtrack I mean who else except Spike can fall like 5 stories out of a building to girls singing opera music in the bg and look good while doing it.
I recommend it to everyone I know just getting into Anime.

Is this just a rumor, or is it actually happening? Because if this is real, it would be freaking AWESOME!

IMDB is listing a Cowboy Bebop project set for 2011, but the info is only available on IMDBPro. Does anyone here use IMDBPro? If so, here's the link to check it out:

Code:

Cowboy Bebop was awesome. If you're looking for something like it, I suggest Black Lagoon. A darker show to be sure, but still is a great series.

+2 for Black Lagoon. Although it doesn't have an episode with a chance of matching "Mushroom Hunting" :D

Re: the Cowboy Bebop movie; keanu reeves is signed on to play spike, which I think is a massive failure. Besides that though, the project itself looks to be a massive failure. It's an unnecessary live-action adaptation of an anime :-/

I actually never seen anything with Cowboy bepop but i'll give it a try now thanks to this thread, also i think that live action anime movies is hollywood saying "We ran out of ideas, so lets steal from another country and put in a medium it shouldn't be in."

I love Cowboy Bebop, especially since its what really got me into anime/manga when it first started airing on adult swim, along with Trigun, lol. I always enjoy watching the re-runs because the episodes just don't get old to me, especially since you don't really ned to know much background for any one episode, there all stand alone episodes. Also i personally liked the animated movie, I thought it did well in keeping it similar to the show. But I agree with whoever said Keenu Reeves would fail as Spike in a live action movie. It's a shame too, because I would love to see an actor who could pull off Spike's laid-back but gangster tough attitude well.
