Am I the only one who doesn't like this?

If we're supposed to believe that there's only one main DC universe, then where did these characters come from? Flashpoint occurred due to Barry Allen saving his mum's life. He undid that and thus returning the universe to normal. It changed to New 52 because he also merged in the Wildstorm & Vertigo worlds.

If we're to believe that, in continuity, any of that happened - then the DCU and Flashpoint characters can NOT still be used. If New 52 is Earth 0, then DCU can't be and neither could Flashpoint. So, is New 52 actually NOT Earth 0?

as far as we're aware there must always be at least 52 DC Earths

after the merging of New Earth with the Vertigo and Wildstorm Earths to become Prime Earth (52-2=50), the DC Multiverse used the extra space to create 2 new earths, as well as altering or removing a few other Earths, we can assume that one of them looks just like the original pre-Flashpoint New Earth, and that the other newly created Earth looks just like the one from Flashpoint

Yeah, I like Larry Hama so that one might be one I pick up. A couple others looked good, too.

But is it just me or does the chance of seeing these characters one more time seem less then exciting since they are all going to be out in some artificial environment under these domes? I mean, instead of doing a story on these characters we miss it seems like they are just going to use them as diverse points of view for the real focus, which is those domes.

Yeah the dome thing kinda threw me. Make's it sound like it's not so much a "catching up on old favourites" rather than a "squeezing old favourites into an event defined situation".

A bit more interest from me in that bunch. Shame the Truman/Jonah Hex rumour didn't pan out.

I hope this isn't the "one more project for DC" that Nicola Scott was talking about before she leaves to do her creator owned stuff.

The art for Superboy and the Legion is a bit odd. You cannot convince me that Superboy ever looked like that, without becoming Superman.

That's a really great looking line up. I think I'll pretty much up for every issue of those, apart from possibly Infinity Inc as I never read them.

Booster Gold is the only one to pique my interest.

The rest look like someone had a hat full of cancelled character names. "Right, so Steel vs... Gen-13! And... Infinity Inc... Vs... Hex!"

yes you are correct we can thank the flash for the new 52 if he hadn't gone back in time and tried to save his mom the new 52 would not have existed. and yes lois and clark should stay together after the advent . it would be cool to see clark dealing with diaper duty between saving the world
