I wouldn't want to read a comic on anything smaller than an iPad screen. It's the perfect size.

That's one of the main reasons I bought an Ipad2!! :-)

Reading them on a Droid was okay, but the Ipad is phenomenal!!

I have a 10.1 inch Acer Iconia 500a paired with Komik reader. Works very well. Comics on this thing look amazing. In process now of trying other reader apps, but so far like Komik the best.

The Xoom with Perfect Viewer works great for reading comics. Even better when they get the SD card slot working on the Wi Fi only model.

I would recommend looking more into what the tablet can do besides displaying a comic book.

There are plenty of tablets out there that are great but the fact that you can JAILBREAK the iPad makes it the leader of the PACK in my eyes.

My boys read on my Toshiba Thrive with the Perfect Viewer app. Big screen (10.1") and they look great. :D

Kindle Fire anyone? Thinking of getting one very soon after some holiday gift cards. Do any of you use a Fire for comics?

If you are going to use the fire, you will have to root it in order to load one of the readers that supports cbr/cbz.

My wife has the Nook Tablet and it works, but in comparison to my Transformer (new prime has been pre-ordered) the 7" screen requires too much scrolling and zooming.

Not sure if it is a great help, but I bought myself a Pocketbook IQ-701. It's mainly an ebook reader but comes with some tablet features and it uses Android. It's only 7" but I'm using it on horizontal position and it seems OK. Scrolling required, of course. By the way, I'm reading comics with Droid Comic View (aka ACV). For about 100 euros only, it's what I've been waiting for. Have a nice 2012! :-)

I just got a kindle fire and so far I love it. For the money I don't think you can beat it. I sideloaded comic reader mobi and it seems to work.
