used the ipad and advent vega. Ipad is very nice. Flawless even. The vega. HMMM Very decent but crappy angle screen. Means u gotta hold it right as in like still the whole time. Move an inch and bam dodgy glare color tint because of the viewing angle. But not with the ipad.

If u want a cheap tablet get the vega. Half the cost and bearable

I was just on vacation, and only brought my Galaxy tab, so I read some comics on that. But I must say, that the size of the Ipad makes it more enjoyable.

I started reading comics on an Archos 70 (first with ACV and then Perfect Viewer). It's actually not too bad on horizontal orientation. The iPad is nice though; I like the shape a lot for books with color pictures and comics. Unfortunately I found 16GB of memory goes quickly and switched back to Android where memory expansion is less of an issue and much cheaper than buying a more spacious iPad. The 10" Android pads work really well for reading comics and if you have removable memory cards you can carry all your comics and books on a card and movies and music on another. Really though, comics look pretty gorgeous on most decent quality tablets.

I use my iPad2 and throw my comics in my Dropbox. I love it.
I agree with whoever said that reading on it is great.

does anybody have any experience reading comics off a nook color?I'm talking about with honeycomb or one of the other OS that you can boot from the SD card not the installed OS.

I've been contemplating getting one as I want it exclusively for reading comics, books, and pdf's for my research and possibly checking my email so I wouldn't need all the ipad apps (plus at $250 i'd save a ton of cash)

What iPad comic reader do you use to access dropbox?

Why no Nook Color love? I would choose that if going the 7" route, thats what I use for reading and it is great. But for those with the want for bigger screens, yes, look elsewhere

iPad all the way in my opinion. For me the screen size makes it perfect for reading comics.

I'm curious how small of a screen people are willing to read comics on? I tried reading a comic off my 4" phone screen and felt it was just too small, wondering if other people run into these issues? I'm also curious if anyone reads comics on a 5" screen?
