I saw the footage this morning it was extremely cool, sadly the just checked the link I saw it through and it is no longer available. It should be widely available soon though now comic con is over I reckon. Can't wait to see some footage of Wonder Woman, that costume is perfect.

New release date: March 25, 2016 :bat: :superman:

Along with this date change, Warner also announced release dates for 11 more movies all the way through 2020.

  • Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice – 03/25/16
  • Untitled DC Film – 08/05/16
  • Untitled DC Film – 06/23/17
  • Untitled DC Film – 11/17/17
  • Untitled DC Film – 03/23/18
  • Untitled DC Film – 07/27/18
  • Untitled WB Event Film – 11/16/18
  • Untitled DC Film – 04/05/19
  • Untitled DC Film – 06/14/19
  • Untitled DC Film – 04/03/20
  • Untitled DC Film – 06/19/20
  • Untitled WB Event Film – 11/20/20

I think that three movies in a year, as will be the case in 2018 and 2020, is too much. It will just saturate the market :( So, like I said once in the chatbox, enjoy the ride while it lasts.

I personally am looking forward to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, wonder what will happen.

Unlike most people, I reserve judgment until I have seen the end product. I have enjoyed all of the Batman movies made after 1970. I have not enjoyed any of the Superman movies since 1980. I pre-judged Michael Keaton as Batman and I think he did a wonderful job. Hopefully Cavill and Affleck will do the World's Finest team justice, so I refuse to count them out before they premiere.

To everyone that tells me

Everyone thought Michael Keaton was gonna suck, and he didn't

I always cynically think "But ... we were right about Clooney."

(Meant in humor and not as a serious point)

True, but I thought his performance sucked, too.
I think the best two Batman actors were Adam West, and Christian Bale.
The Yin and Yang for that particular character.

I think that the movie is going to be great! I am looking forward to the first confrontation between "The World's Finest".

Hopefully, also, the movie sets up well for the Justice League movies.

Still don't know how they are going to fit a coherent story into the running time but they are definitely promoting it well.

I prefer the previous trailer... Why is Batman so gun-positive? Has Snyder never heard of Batman before this?

a common misconception: Batman is against using lethal weapons (aka weapons that can kill easy), but since the conventional methods won't work against Superman, he doesn't have to be as careful as he would be if he went against a human, besides he's not against pistol shaped items either

I watched it i had to watch it a couple times to see where they were going with it. I would love to see the director's cut.

Just revisiting this post as it's a topic that I've never really followed up with fans who I feel could be as objective as I like to think I am.

I saw it with a couple of friends. I won't go so far as to say I hated it as I don't think I hate any real attempt to bring my comic book heroes to the big screen. However, I certainly didn't like it. I found it hard to follow, it jumped around aimlessly and had some really poorly thought out scenes. And I really hate the Flash costume :flash: !

It's not just that I thought the movie was too dark. A misconception among defenders of the movie is that, and I quote this from someone I spoke to... "It's the whole point, DC movies are supposed to be dark, like the comics. It's all really dark unlike Marvel which is more fun and less serious!" Apparently this person took me for someone that had never grown up reading both Marvel and DC. Apart from his point being total hooey, I actually found the film dark, as in murky and lifeless...devoid of colour to a degree and as such really hard to watch.

I really want to watch the extended version as I hope that even if the darkness (apologies...the murkiness) still exists, then hopefully the storyline may flow a bit better and help it feel less disjointed. Not sure what it can do about all the bits I didn't like that are part and parcel of the movie as a whole, however I could probably live with it more. As I previously said, I didn't hate it (as such)!

Am I being to over the top, anyone disagree. Did you like it and have a more compelling argument than the numpty I quoted earlier?
