Okay, good issue. I've liked all the new Bat comics so far. One major gripe (and it is pretty major)
We have established that Dick was indeed Batman for a time and was supposed to be the Batman for awhile without anyone noticing any major difference!

So Riddle me this...how is it that in the family shot with Bruce, Dick, Damien and Tim, that Dick is at least a foot and a half shorter and way less built than Bruce?

Otherwise as said Bat comics are so far living up to all expectations.

Really liked the issue myself, IMO its the best from the 52 so far but as I said in another topic I'm kinda bias. As for the whole Dick think I agree with you mrpinktoo, it seems really weird that they have strayed from a body type that at least isn't close to Bruce's height, I just kinda chalked it up to either a mistake or different artist interpretation.

I do reckon the 'new' look for Dick is down to artistic license. Look at Joker near the start - nothing like in Detective.

I was actually very disappointed by the art in this. All the supervillains looked poor - in fact Batman was the only character I looked at and was happy with.

Decent story, decent gadgets, nice to see the Batmobile from Dick's time as the Bat.

When i just thought i was the only one.

Especially the joker disappointed. Not to mention the Batfamilys looks without the suits.

Bruce looks like Ken from Barby and Dick looks like hes 16, without details or anything.

Glad to see you are a fan Div!

Yea, batman is my Second favorite Character in DC. Tim Drake is my number one, if you like the depth of Batman, I think you should read Red Robin, I think it's like 26 issues.
I really enjoyed them, though you might need to know the events building up to this series. If you want PM and I could help you out.

Cheers Batman117, i'll definitely have a look at that. my first batman comic was the Hush series and after reading that i was blown away. when i saw that DC was relaunching some of their comics, haha i rushed out and got them. yeah reading the new batman, i prefer tim drake too :-D
