Is Atomic Robo Good? I was thinking about picking up this series just wanted to hear some opinions before I did. So what are you guys thoughts on it?

It's an OK series. The art is cartoony and has some humor in it. I think it's pretty popular amongst the independent market, but I cannot be sure.

It is good. Robo was created by Tesla, his arch nemesis is/was Edison (depending on if the story is past or present) and there are characters such as Dr Dinosaur, a genius raptor who wants to return the world to the prehistoric age.

It's fun, sometimes weird, always funny and filled with nerd moments of all kinds. Sci-fi, anime, steampunk...

I think of Atomic Robo as a sort of Hellboy-lite. He goes on science adventures and fights reality-spanning bad guys but it doesn't care the grim tone of Hellboy. (Nothing against Hellboy.) It's a fun read but there's not a lot to it.

coming up on a really good time to jump on the atomic robo bandwagon. the ongoing series of mini stories returns next week with 2 issues, they always do something for fcbd, and in june an all new volume begins involving dr.dinosaur (one of his nemesis, and a total fan favorite)

Just wrapped up Atomic Robo and the Golden Knights. It was great!

Anyone ever played the role-playing game?
